Provisions
We recommend you stop at a supermarket on the way, otherwise Tesco & Asda do deliver (Yes! Really!) We also get a delivery from the milkman 3 times a week (on request) so if you're short of bread, milk or eggs, let us know.
Failing all that, the local general store is 9 miles away in Gosforth.
Breakfasts & Packed Lunches
Believe it or not, you can actually do the whole self catering thing, without actually "Self Catering"!
If you don't want to cook, you can book in for breakfast, we can also make you packed lunches, then you can saunter down to the Wasdale Head Inn for dinner (or "tea" as we say up North).
Breakfast is £10.00 per person & Packed lunches £8.50 per person. Pre-ordering is essential.
Cottage Rates 2024
We operate a minimum 6 or 7 night stay (depending on what gaps are available) during the summer months (Easter - October) and a 3 night minimum stay in the winter months.

Weekly rates range from £465 - £620 (depending on time of year)
Nightly rates range from £110 - £135 (depending on time of year)
Dogs: £35 per dog per week or part week.
To book, we require a non refundable deposit of 50% of the total stay. Please see our Booking Conditions for cancellation charges.
